Letters of Recommendation

I am starting to have alumni write me letters of rec, and I am wondering how helpful they are during the recruitment process. I know they do not necessarily guarantee me a bid anywhere, but I would love to know if a really good letter of rec helps me stand out during recruitment.

Recs can put you on a chapter's radar.

I would try and get a rec for every single sorority at least. A rec from a super involved alum can definitely help your chances but I would just focus on getting at least one for as many sororities as possible
