by: idkwill most sororities drop you if you let them know you have an older sister/stepsister in a different sorority? should you keep it quiet when talking to girls in rush if you want to keep your options open to other sororities? don’t wanna hurt my chances

If you bring it up in a conversation, my sorority drops you(can’t speak for everyone, just 1/18) because it tells us that you’re not interested. It’s a good idea to just not bring up other sororities at all during parties. But if it’s just on your resume or whatever, we don’t care:)

You mean a sitting sister at Auburn? That's kind of a powerful pull. If you put it on your recruitment form or it shows up on your rec then we will know. You don't have to put your legacy status on your form, and you can tell your rec writers not to mention it. We might know anyway because it's Auburn, but honestly it's kind of fun to steal a PNM away from her sitting sister's house. If your sister goes somewhere else then that's not a big deal at all. Regardless, if you make a point of bringing it up to us then we will take it as a "don't bother, I want my legacy house," but if someone asks you about it then your answer should be that you are keeping your mind completely open to finding the best fit for you.
