why do certain girls have thousands of followers

Confused as to why this is when they don't seem to be famous or anything. Is it too be above other people? Is it a requirement that you have a certain amount of following to be in Greek life?

You can have anywhere from 10-20 followers to be like a zta but they have to be famous people. Quality>quantity. You have to have like 30-40 to be an alpha gam. I know this from experiments
