well first, you're a puss, trying to feel out which pledgeship will be the easiest, which won't get you a bid anywhere, probably the smaller ones as well.
second, you are asking "who are the top tier fraternities" which means that you 1) no nothing about greek life in general, and inherently are probably a little geedy, and 2) are going for "top tier" fraternities which means that you are about as fake as they come.
People's opinions are going to change daily on who they think a good fraternity is and who is a bad one, and also their reasons for which will change as well. For the fraternity that parties extremely hard, theres just as many people laughing at how they are all failing out/retarded. For the fraternity with the top GPA, someone is out there making fun of how lame their parties are. Greek letters aren't going to make you a badass. You make your letters what they are. Be a "top tier" guy, and a leader, and watch the respect of your fraternity rise along with you.
