where is theta good?
by: TransferI'm a theta at a school in the northeast and my parents moved to Alabama so I'm transferring after this coming fall. I wanted to go to Auburn at first, but I heard theta sucks here, and at Bama, and Ole Miss... Where in the south is theta actually good? It's good at my current school... I want somewhere with good football and nice people.

In general, even a "bottom ranked" chapter at an SEC school is going to be better that any chapter at a Northeast school. All the chapters at Auburn are competitive to get into and most Northern schools don't even require recs to get in. The chapters here are all well over 200 members and if you can't find someone to bond with then the problem is clearly yours, not the chapter's. If your Theta chapter is so great you should probably stay up North. We like people who are actually concerned about academics and loyalty as well as greek life and football.
