Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Auburn University - AU 5.0 I have heard Chi-O makes the biggest first cut of any of the sororities on campus. Even if a girl is adorable she won't make that first cut unless she her GPA and resume are amazing. I'm sure your cousin will find a great sorority for her - hope she doesn't get discouraged or take it personally. Chi-O's are awesome but so are lots of other groups:)

Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Auburn University - AU 4.0 remember that the fact that your cousin was cut does not mean that Chi-O hated her or anything of that nature. Every girl who goes through rush will be cut by various houses. It's just a matter of staying positive and keep going back to the groups that make a positive impression on you. Every house has to be aware of legacies who have strong family ties to the sorority coming through rush and will generally hold aside some slots for those girls. Your cousin may have simply been a victim of numbers at an old and established house like Chi-O which could have a ton of legacy girls rushing. Also remember that the president may have loved your cousin, but she has only one vote just like everyone else. There are so many reasons that a girl could get cut. Just keeping a good attitude and an open mind are the keys to finding a house where you fit and will be happy. Every sorority at Auburn has so much to offer. Good luck to your cousin and to you down the road a bit. War Eagle!!

Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Auburn University - AU 4.3 The current president is an all around amazing person and super sweet! I'm sure she goes way beyond to make PNMs feel welcome! Competition is really tough with record numbers this year. ChiO is awesome, but I'm sure your cousin will find a great fit at AU! Good luck to you next year!

Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Auburn University - AU 4.3 My cousin is going through rush and loved these girls at Ice Water Teas. She is a very cute girl, very sweet and easy to talk to and told me that the president singled her out and came and talked to her. She was then cut right after Ice Water Teas. I'm confused by this can someone explain why the president would come talk to a girl and then cut the girl? Was this just a coincidence? I'm just wondering because I will be going through rush next year and I want to be prepared for what certain signs might mean. How can you tell if they actually are interested in you or not?

Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Auburn University - AU 4.8 Chi-O girls are just great girls. It's what a sorority is supposed to be about. Friendship and Fun. They are not obsessed with choosing the hottest girls or the richest or the popular. They look at what is beneath all that and find genuine sweet beautiful girls. LOVE them.
