"classy"?

When people describe Alpha Phi, they always say that those girls are the "classiest" and THIS IS NOT IN ANY WAY ME TRYING TO SAY THEY ARE NOT CLASSY, but I don't see any distinction between them and the rest of the girls in sororities here. To say that they are the classiest puts them at a class level that is above and beyond all the other sorority girls, or that the rest of the sorority girls are not classy... But in my opinion there is nothing that sets them apart from the rest, class-wise. Like all sorority girls, they party, get sloppy or blacked out drunk, have an amount of drama... AGAIN, THIS IS NOT TO BASH THEM because all of the girls in sororities here do that; it's unrealistic to say that they don't.
I just don't understand what distinguishes Alpha Phi as being "classy" and everyone else not.

No, I'm not bashing! I'm just saying that everyone always says, "Alpha Phi is so classy!" but what does that even mean? Because I've seen and heard things from Alpha Phi that Kate Middleton wouldn't exactly do. I'm just curious as to where the idea that they were the "classiest" came from.
Alpha Phi is great. :)

perhaps the way they dress? or the way the act/talk when they're not at parties?

in my opinion, it is how they dress. they look put together. even on campus and such. they wear makeup but it's not caked on, which just kind of gives them a naturally pretty look and makes them look classy. while this isn't everyone or 100% of the time, its just an overall vibe.

also funny how I refreshed the page and it literally went from 0-10 dislikes in that second. Don't get so defensive, no one is trying to say that Alpha Phi isn't a wonderful sorority.
