what to look for when you're rushing a fraternity

When deciding on who to rush, you might want to take a closer look than "Who has the best parties" or "Who hit me up first"
Who you rush is likely to have a huge impact on what your college life will be like, and will ultimately impact the rest of your life in a major way. Be wise and try and pick the fraternity which wil be the best match for you in the long run!

Here are some things I looked for when I was rushing...

1) Do the guys you're hanging around accept you for the type of guy you actually are, or are you putting up an act to fit in? If you're not yourself around these dudes, you'll probably end up DAing at some point and will have wasted lots of opportunities that come from Greek Life!

2) Do the older guys have good jobs/internships or any at all? If all of the older guys are "FRAT BOIZ" with low gpa's and no responsibility in their lives, is that something you really want to walk into? Look for a group of well rounded accomplished dudes who have a balance of chill/fun and professionalism

3) Have the older guys grown since they rushed? Did the guy get his bulky dad bod because he used to be buff in high school and then got lazy and drank a lot? Or did he come in obese and learn about health thru his bros and worked towards where he is at now?

4) What types of girls go to parties and hang around the bros? Are they hoes who get passed around? Are they successful college girls who you would want to be in your life? Are they fun? Are they cute? Are they nice?
