frat with the best brotherhood?
by: swegmanSo I'm considering rushing fall quarter, and I was just wondering which frats have, in your opinion, the best brotherhood? It's one of the main reasons why I'm considering rushing. I'd also prefer a house at Newport if they have one. I don't really care for things like ranking or face value in all honesty, I just want some nice, chill people who are down to have a good time.

Most people would say Sigma chi, FIJI, and sigep boast the best brotherhood. Those three and Ksig also are the only chapter who have an on campus AV house, which is pretty important too depending on what youre looking for.
But honestly what matters more is if you click with them in the first place. I'd recommend just talking to every frat, you have a full two weeks.

A large part of brotherhood is fostered and maintained through having an on campus house. That's why you notice Ksig, SigEp, Sigma Chi, and Fiji are all mentioned for top brotherhood. When you have an AV house, not only do 18+ bros live together, but it also provides an easily accessible place that is open 24/7 to every single other bro. That house is literally yours too. Imagine being able to stop by at anytime to chill/study/eat with your bros. nothing beats it
In terms of Newport houses. Ksig and sigep have multiple. Sigma chi has one I believe and fiji has none.
