That has to be a joke, sigep is known as the "friendzone frat" where sororities that are up there only affiliate with them to hang out/pregame. Sigchi isn't really relevant, SAE has relations with top sororities and has hot dudes, whoever posted this is tryna bag on SAE.

First, try competing with Fiji who has a house and can throw multiple parties per week at their house.

Girls aren't gonna travel to the same Newport house 2x-3x a week, every week. Just takes too much time and money (uber). For select major parties sure but that will get old fast
Having an AV house allows you to capitalize on girls who already live at the sorority houses who don't wanna travel far. Which will be most of them on a weekday like Monday-thursday

Not just FIJI, but KSig and SigEp too will both overshadow a 20-something chapter without a house. I bid SAE a good luck in fall rush because they'll need it.

Yeah actually Newport Uber prices are regularly 15 and waaaaay more during new surge it's a lot. I do hope the guys in SAE do well though. UCI in general kills Greek life and even though I'm in another chapter, I don't wanna see other frats fizzle and die out. Find bros who live in UTC or VDC for parties along with the Newport house for parties closer to campus. Really hope everyone does well this fall

So why didn't another Greek chapter have the opportunity to take over Greek? Honestly, it's so ridiculous. Every frat that doesn't have a house should have had a chance. But I agree, having a house is super helpful. Yes, Newport is fun, but a hassle to get to and really only an option during weekends. And then if people want to bar hop its like okay the under 21s are left out, so I get separated from some of my sisters.

The rank doesn't say Pike is above sig pi. They're really comparable in many ways
