chapter meetings
by: pnmI'm assuming it varies by chapter, but when are chapter meetings? How long do they last? In addition to those are there other "regular" things you have to do? (I know there are philanthropy events and greek week and all that but like regularly scheduled events?) Just trying to get a feel for time commitments.

chapter meetings are usually on sunday nights around 7:00 pm. informal chapters are shorter than formal ones (formal you dress up and do the ritual). but chapter meetings are generally an hour - sometimes more, sometimes less. around recruitment time, during elections, etc. chapters will definitely be longer but it's not a huge time commitment. if you're a new member you will also have regularly scheduled new member meetings with your pledge class up until initiation in march. those will probably be around an hour as well!
