sorority events

I'm super nervous to go the events sororities have on campus and I'm really worrying it will hurt me during recruitment? Girls are handing out food or drinks and I want to go and talk to them but I'm just like so nervous idk. Like KD had that thing at their house this weekend and I didn't go. Do girls who go have better chances of getting into houses?? Do the sororities actually remember you or is it ok that I didn't go?

Um I really wouldn't worry about it, lots of people don't go and still get bids when they rush.
