As a current freshman, as soon as I stepped onto campus the only sorority I really heard anything about was Alpha Phi. After experiencing house tours and going to all the information meetings I was able to meet some members of each sorority. Alpha Phi's girls were so cute and welcoming! They also seemed to have a lot of passion about their philanthropy which supports women's heart health. I was shocked to see all these hateful comments on here, because what I saw was a great group of girls.

I have to say that these girls are some of the fakest people I have ever met. There are some nice ones in the chapter, but it's apparent that the girls in this chapter care more about making themselves look good than fostering a genuine sisterhood. I have friends in this chapter who have told me about the point system that the members must follow in order to go to big events such as formal. Greek unity should be voluntary, not forced like it is in Sigma Kappa.

They just got a new house for 2014-15 which while not centrally located is clearly the coolest and nicest on campus. Only top tier fraternity where the guys aren't known as d-bags, in fact probably the opposite. Clearly trending the right direction and are becoming one of the more desirable houses on campus.
