dropping

What happens if you decide that you pledged a sorority that is not a good " fit"?😢
I know you have to drop before initiation in order to rush again. My question is, how does that work? Has anyone ever known this to happen? Are you labeled during Rush next year as someone that quit? What are the Chances of finding the right house on the second go round? Thanks so much for any info!

That's what happens when you buy into the myth of "tiers", which are fake and don't exist and indeed are not recognised by UF, UF Panhellenic, or any Greek authority anywhere. Next time don't listen to your "friends", as they no doubt were brainwashed about "tiers" as PNMs. Listen to you heart.

If you really don't feel like the chapter is the right fit, drop before initiation. I know girls who have and who have ended up in different chapters. Just know you wont get a second chance at the house you're in now if you decide to rush again.

We have very large sororities here and there are similar girls in all the houses. Sweet girls, sarcastic girls, party girls, academic girls, girls shaped like models, girls shaped like pears, girls with blonde hair, girls with black hair, etc. If you really can't find girls you fit in with in your house, maybe the problem isn't your house. Maybe the problem is you. I'm going to doubt that you would fit in any house and I'm going to say that most houses wouldn't take a chance on a girl who found herself completely unable to fit in with as many girls as are in our houses.

Do some soul searching. I think if you try, you can find girls you love. You don't need to change your house, just your attitude.

If you feel like you don't fit in then I would suggest dropping ASAP. Don't wait any longer don't get attached
