by: CuriousAnyone have any houses that they haven't wanted since round one left? There is a certain house that I keep ranking at the bottom yet I keep getting asked back. Why does this keep happening and is anyone else having this problem?

it means that the ones you want that you put above don't want you. That's why the ones at your bottom might be coming back onto your list. Give them a chance. Its a mutual system. You might like houses that don't put you as a priority. RUsh is very competitive - explore and maximize all options and enjoy where you belong, not necessarily where you think you belong. Go with it.

First of all that is not a problem. These houses like you enough to ask you back, which is an honor! The houses that you like are NOT inviting you back and so houses that were on your previous list that do are put back on your list, if you have less than the maximum number parties per round. I know this process must be confusing but honestly a lot of the times PMNs are not in the drivers seat but the chapter women are. You should be thankful that you have invitations and aren't in your dorm room crying because you have been released. The process might not have gone the way you imagined but EVERY chapter has something to offer or they would not be at UF.

This is correct. Under no circumstances would a chapter you ranked lower "bump" a top choice out of your schedule. You are required to return to as many chapters as invite you back, and your rankings matter only if you get MORE invitations than there are party slots that round. If you are returning to the chapter you preferred least, it means enough of your preferred chapters chose to release you.
