Im going to be honest, recruitment is essentially girls judging other girls. It is unfortunate but it is based a lot on looks, mostly because 1) chapters want attractive members to increase/keep their reputations 2) looks are one thing that we can fully assess in the short time we have with you. Some chapters judge appearances more harshly than others, HOWEVER apperance is definitely not all the chapters are looking for. I do not believe financial standing is as big of an issue in most houses, as long as you're able to pay your dues and whatnot, I have never heard of a house here being super picky about the financial status of their members. My house has girls that come from normal middle class families as well as girls whose families are very well off, and there's no problem with that.

As far as the Insta stalking thing, don't worry. With so many girls going through Rush it's unlikely that you'll have girls dissecting your social media accounts (unless you have connections and they know they want you before rush even starts-- but that's a diff story). if anything they'll peek at your fb or instagram.

And two recs is good, definitely not pushing it.
