braces?

I have braces and no idea when they'll be off as I've had them for 4 years and my teeth still aren't perfect... should I get them taken off for rush? I'm going to the orthodontist tomorrow to see what he says. I'd also probably be getting them back on within a few weeks after rush. Would they rather see me with not-straight teeth, or braces?

I'm a sophomore if that matters. Also I'm not "perfect" in other regards, i.e. I'm "old" by being a soph, not in SG or cicerones or dazzlers/cheer, not a perfect 10 (I still do my hair nicely and wear makeup and will have the right outfits for rush).

Don't get me wrong we will probably be like wtf she has braces but don't jeopardize your teeth for rush lol. Get clear bands, do your makeup and hair really well, still have a great conversation, and just be you, and hope for the best.

just explain your situation.....my chapter got a couple pc 14s with braces bc of jaw surgery, got them on too late, whatever....they got them off within a few months and honestly are some of the prettiest/coolest girls we got in our new PC. real houses with real sisterhoods will look past it. good luck with rush!

I rushed with braces last year and got into the house that was my number one! Don't let them hold you back! If a chapter doesn't want you because you have braces then you shouldn't want them anyway!
