How does housing work for new chapters? (I'm not from Florida). Is this a big consideration for which group is invited to colonize?

Yes, housing is a big consideration for groups that decide to submit interest packets and then those that present because they will have to build a comparable facility to be successful, which is a big investment.

Sororities do not "get" houses. The national sorority will probably establish a housing corporation/board to work with the university and/or local realtors to determine a suitable location. It will be a significant amount of money to build a new house and furnish it or renovate an existing house (Phi Delta Theta is for sale). Heard rumors that the university was going to "open up" some land in the Fraternity Row/Pi Beta Phi area. The land would probably be leased from the university with the sorority footing the cost of building on it...

would it be a bad sorority once established and gets it first PC?
AND I'm sure everyone is wondering, from guy, would they want to hang out with them? How did it work for DZ?
