sorority dues??
by: PNMDoes anyone know where I can find the semester dues of each individual sorority? The Panhellenic site shows the range of dues, but not the costs specific to each sorority. Or can anyone tell me which sororities are the most/least expensive??

Also consider that most sororities fine you if you don't do certain things--like show up at social events. Kappa by it's charter can't fine you. I'm not sure if there are other sororities which can't fine, or traditionally don't fine. Finally there are expenses associated with a sorority. There are T-shirts, a badge, etc. However, if you eat at the sorority house then you don't need a University food plan, but you'll have to feed yourself at least one day a week and possibly breakfast. You might find a general budget on www.greekchat.com along with the information on the university website. I suspect that such budget & info is as close as you'll get to the info you're requesting.

Rumor has it there is a cost associated with houses on sorority row that inflates their price. So houses that are not technically on row have cheaper dues like kappa, theta and Pi phi. I'm in one of these houses, and I pay roughly $1400 per semester. Tri delt and DZ pay about $3000 per semester. Everyone else is somewhere in between.

there are 1,700 girls who are going through this grueling process, many who have been dropped and at this point you are questioning costs? don't pick a house by the cost. if you can't pay you should not even be going through it. I know its a harsh statement but not fair to those who totally researched this before who are without a spot!
