Ranking based on personality type, please read
by: the truth
The rankings are definitely real so please stop listening to everyone who’s trying to sugarcoat it. Sororities only hangout with certain frats and there is definitely a trend. The importance you put on the ranking in terms of the frats that srats hangout with and vice versa is up to you, but you probably won’t go far in developing true friends if you pay too much attention to that.
The mean girl type is definitely alive and well in the “top” houses and gets more obscure as you look at mid and lower tier houses. That being said, here is a rank based on general personality types from a recent grad. Are there nice girls in each chapter? Of course. But there are definitely types that tend to be more predominant in each chapter :)
REAL GIRLIES:
Pi Phi, Alpha Phi, DZ, Gphi
NICE GIRLIES:
Aephi, Phi Mu, XO, SK, KKG
TOXIC GIRLIES (so not necessarily mean, but I have witnessed way too many toxic friendships in these houses):
AOII, Deeph, AXO
MEAN GIRLIES:
ADPI, ZTA, DDD, KD, DG,KAO

This is an immature way of looking at people, especially from the viewpoint of an alledged 'recent grad' who should be old enough to know better.
- The drama gets noticed, the niceness doesn't. Everyone knows that.
- Every house has drama because there are way too many people in all the chapters for everyone to love each other and be besties. There are people in every chapter that detest each other, and also lots of really tight close friend groups in every chapter. No one likes everyone in their sorority, you will get along fine with or be neutral about most of your sisters, and having 3-5 really close friends is the norm.
- You are one person, that's all, who is only on the outside looking in at all these other houses and hundreds of these members. You only know what you know from looking through a tiny little keyhole.
- It is derogatory to call sorority women 'girlies', actually pretty misogynistic.
