girls rerushing.
by: lolfrom my understanding i’m hearing abunch of rumors and speculations ab what the odds r for girls rerushing. so apparently sororities keep a file on the girls rerushing, some will put the girl at the end of the list and others will completely drop them, this makes me wonder if this is true bc ofc the troll didn’t even name what sororities specifically.

it’s unfortunately not trolling. upper sororities more likely than not will cut you (or have you on the to be cut in round two or three lists). many lower sororities will definitely note it as a red flag. many times, rerushing is the result of someone believing they should be in a certain house while not giving the houses full of amazing girls who do want them a chance. for most houses, rerushing is something of note. mine wants us to figure out why, so we can avoid someone who will drop us for a top at the last second or accept someone who maybe had unfortunate circumstances. good luck!!! you will find a house that wants you 🫶

I rerushed and got every house I wanted back. Don’t listen to the trolls. I’m now in a house I love and we don’t care whether or not someone is rerushing. The only thing that would cause an issue with someone rerushing is if they did something really bad while in another sorority.

this is mad dumb and just WRONG. you know how many girls rerush and get into top and middle houses????? SO many. a lot of girls rerush with more confidence, more connections, more involvement, etc. No chapter cares enough to keep a list of girls who got dropped and are re-rushing. The only girls that “sororities remember” & get dropped in a case like this are girls who rushed and dropped before initiation. then they will probably not be asked back to the house they dropped to rerush. Most other houses don’t care tho and don’t keep tabs on girls like that
like if u pledged DG stayed in the house for a few weeks but dropped before initiation and re rush, DG is going to drop you after round 1 bc they know you didn’t want them. but the other houses don’t really care. ik plenty of girls that rerushed— from girls who got into houses but realized it wasn’t a good fit to girls who didn’t get bids their freshman years but pledged great houses. unless a girl is literally crazy with a nasty rep then most girls rerush super successfully.
