pnm videos being judged?

When we rush you we try to pair you with a sister with similar interests. No worries though, by yourself.

You make them so you can be judged. Not in a “she’s not cute enough” way as much as you need to present yourself well and showcase your personality. The video is 85 percent of what makes or breaks you for round 2 invites. If you have good socials, an awesome resume and know people in a house you might have a bad video overlooked but don’t count on it. Videos are super important.

They are checking out PNMs way before the videos are submitted. One problem is some pnms fall thru the cracks and get cut because they are not noticed enough. Make your social media respectable and good.

We watch the videos. If you do not fit our mold - pretty stupid and shallow we cut you right away.

If you are imagining that the entire chapter gathers together to watch all the videos to be mean and superior and pick apart the pnm's in a judgemental way then please stop watching those crappy b movies about sororities and grow up. Nobody is making fun of pnm's videos. Membership selection is not a joke, we are looking for quality members and focusing on positive attributes and best fit for our sisterhood. Recruitment is the most important thing we do all year. It is stressful and time consuming. In my house the recruitment committee watches them all, in other houses the chapter is divided into groups and each group is given a bunch to watch. Judgement is not the right word; assessment is better. We are assessing pnm's for best fit in our house, and pnm's are doing the same about us for themselves.
