I feel out of place and confused please help

by:

So I rushed as a junior in the fall and I felt like I made some really great connections but the feelings weren’t mutual. I ended up getting dropped by the two houses I absolutely loved so I decided to drop. Everyone told me I’ll end up where i was supposed to but I didn’t feel confident in any of the cobs. I guess my question is is it that much harder rushing as an upperclassmen and should I put myself out there again in the spring? I’m almost positive the house I fell in love with would be invite only in the spring but I’m hoping I’ll get to visit houses I never even got to see in the fall.

If a house does not want you, then that is not the place for you. Go somewhere where you are wanted, loved, and appreciated. Like the comment above says, put yourself out there!! There’s amazing people in each house. I promise you will find a house that wants you for YOU

there is a huge disadvantage with being an upperclassmen. especially juniors and seniors. the post above is right.

this may sound harsh but at this point the only houses that would take you are bottom houses. rushing as a junior in fall is already pushing it. if that didn’t work out it’s time to move past greek life

Last fall was probably your last chance. Bottom tiers might take you in spring with connections to someone in house. Next fall is a no go. No house wants a senior no matter how good. What’s the point of Greek life at that point anyway?
