Advice for incoming Freshman
by: FAXTo all incoming freshman, do not listen to all the self-ranking top tier opinions loaded on this site. They will try to tell you that somehow their social events are better or more fun than others and that is why they rank themselves on top. Sounds conceited and narcissistic, right? My advice, coming from a so-called lower tier house is to look at the object TOR numbers and visit as many houses as you can and be yourself. These ranks do not reflect the “FUN/SOCIAL” rate over the next 4 years.

Top tier don’t come on this ridiculous page and promoter, they don’t need to. However go with the house you felt that vibe. Go to the house you were most comfortable with and don’t worry about racing because it’s your life and your 4 years of active membership. That said, don’t believe what you hear about the number one, two and three srat. Number one is hated simply because they are number one. Number two and three as well because they are there. MKe your own choices.

LOL. It is being used by the bottom tier houses to sound more appealing. No one cares about TOR. My advise is to join a house that you feel at home regardless of which tier the house is in. Yes there are tiers here. There are three top houses( a couple those houses have great tor scores) but that is not the reason these house are popular. They are popular because they are hot, and fun.
