I'm in a relationship and was planning on joining a frat. Would I have to attend formals and date parties if I didn't want to ?

You don't have to be Greek to go to date parties and formals.

You don't have to attend anything you don't want to. But you will be missing out. Try to see if your girlfriend can come up for at least one or two of the big ones
