joining a sorority too late?

by: questionmaster

I'm out of state and went to a local college to get my AA. It is a 2 year program that took me 2.5 years to finish and I'm taking the next spring semester off, so in total 3 years. I work full time and compete and train for sports everyday which is why it took me a bit longer to complete the degree. I'm looking to enroll at UF fall of 2014 and would like to join a sorority, possibly Kappa Delta. Is there any chance I can get in, being that I'm not an incoming freshman?

You can't just pick one sorority you think you would like to join. You need to have an open mind and see where recruitment takes you, accept who cuts you and appreciate and enjoy the chapters that invite you back. Trust the system, you'll end up where you are meant to be.

You might have a chance if you have really, really excellent grades, some activities, and are not bad looking. But don't narrow down your choices before you even begin. You really don't have that much say in who offers you a bid.
