junior transfer

I know for sure ADPi, KD, and Chi O are good about giving upperclassmen bids (IF you obviously fit into their sorority and mesh with the sisterhood), but I'm sure those aren't the only ones.

However, the older you are, the more amazing of a candidate you'd better be. Houses want mostly freshmen, and the upperclassmen quota is usually filled with sophomores. You gotta shine gurl

Don’t do it

Most houses always have at least one junior in their PC. I know a junior who rushed last year and got a great house. You aren’t competing with freshmen because every house has an upperclassmen quota. You’re competing with sophomores and other juniors. There’s a lot less of you so that’s a pro I guess but also less spots

I rushed as a junior and honestly rush went really well for me because I think I was less nervous than the freshman rushing and had more in common to talk about with the older girls rushing me. I know for a fact that aephi doesn’t take girls that aren’t freshman or sophomores and I’m not sure if this is true for other houses. I know a couple other girls who rushed as juniors and went Pi phi, adpi and dz. my friend who rushed as a junior and went Pi phi said there were actually a couple juniors in her pledge class and they were all super cool. I ended up at my top choice house so def go for it and don’t stress too much about being older!
