transfer without chapter at uf

If you were truly initiated into a sorority at another school you should know that you are a LIFETIME member of that sorority. You cannot rush or join another sorority at UF, even if your sorority does not have an active chapter here. With that being said, there are so many other ways outside of Greek life to be involved at UF and to meet people.

NO. You cannot petition this request. Once you have been initiated into a NPC sorority, you cannot join another one at a different campus. That is the NPC rules. I suggest you get a copy of the NPC bylaws regarding membership. If you don't believe, contact the NPC itself and let them tell you. But here's a question for "transfer" if you were thinking of transferring from your current school to UF, why did you go through sorority RUSH? You should have waited until you transfer to UF. Basically you made a bad decision.

Hey everyone, it’s me! The girl who originally posted this. To be clear I had heard mixed things about being able to write to npc and re-rush, despite the bylaws. I also mainly posted this for ideas for other fraternities/sororities to rush from people who maybe were in both an npc chapter and other social chapters. I didnt mean to offend anyone and am really just looking to meet new people because transferring to a new school a few years in isn’t easy! If anyone knows anything about other social fraternities/sororities, any advice would be appreciated otherwise pls stop telling me the npc rules I think I’ve got it down :)
