round 2?

I know round 2 is philanthropy but what kind of questions or what do you talk about with the girl you’re assigned to in round 2?

They will be discussing the philanthropy of course as well as general small talk. Ask questions and don’t be shy. Conversation skills are very important. You may have someone Rush you that has something in common with you

so is the small talk in round 2 basically just the same type of conversation from round 1?

I would say this is the round where you want to bring up your past involvement in high school and stuff, and elaborate on what the philanthropies mean to you. For example when I went through rush I was at AXO and their philanthropy is Domestic Violence Awareness, so I mentioned how I think domestic violence is widely misunderstood by lots of people and I think it's so cool that they're working to change the stigma around it. Stuff like that will start a meaningful and memorable conversation. And ask lots of questions about the events the chapter has. We put a lot of work into our philanthropy events and and they mean a lot to us, so we love talking about it.
