how do sororities drop?
by: PnmSo after round 1, how do they decide if they drop a girl or keep her? Do the sisters have a meeting a discuss it?

Specifics on membership selection are secret to each sorority. In general, panhellenic tells each house how many PNMs they can invite back to the next round. The number is based on average return rates during previous years rushes. Essentially the top tier houses have the highest return rates, then middle tier, then lower tier. So the top houses have to drop the most PNMs. Then each house submits their invites back to the computer and this goes on each round.
If you are a legacy to a certain chapter then you have a good chance of an automatic invite back to round 2 but after that, it won’t matter and you will be treated like other PNMs in the ranking/voting process.

The house gets together. If a sister wants the house to look at a certain friend than they will. Otherwise some many names are called out and dropped . Especially in the Top tier houses of Adpi, Ka and zta. You have to make an impression on who is rushing you. Actually very shallow process. I refused to rush girls. You do not know anyone in 20 minutes. You are judged on looks, grades, what can you bring to the table. Are you smart will you help the house GPA. Can you win Miss UF or HC queen.? Are you a cheerleader. Do not buy into the fake crap the house talks about either. Rush is awful!
