On this website, what none of these self ranking, reputation obsessed bimbo’s will tell you is that the order of the top/mid/bottom DOES. NOT. MATTER. I’m going to say it again for emphasis - there are no #1/#2/#3, etc. “spots”. It’s sad that PNM’s won’t realize this until AFTER they join your sorority and learn how every house participates in the same things, and by then you’re initiated so it’s too late.

The top fraternities are ATO/Beta/SAE/SigmaChi/PDT/Pike. 6 top fraternities for 6 top sororities - so guess what? Each top sorority has socials/tailgates/woodsers/hoco with each of the top six fraternities. You are NOT missing out on anything by being in one sorority over the other. In addition, no one fraternity will prefer a sorority over another. You will have groups of guys in every fraternity that have different favorite sororities. Same goes for sororities - you will have different groups of girls who prefer one fraternity over another. That being said, you will have opportunities to meet guys in any fraternity you want and make relationships anywhere you go. Diversity and putting yourself out there to meet new people was one of my favorite parts of freshman year!

Every sorority has girls who are in prestigious clubs on campus and will motivate you to do the same. Maybe one sorority focuses more on DM fundraising, another sorority will focus more on philanthropy, another will focus on study hours to place emphasis on GPA’s, but they ALL do it! You didn’t need to be a part of any specific organization to get involved in high school, so why would you now?

This isn’t high school anymore - you are growing into a young woman and you will soon realize that your reputation and “what’s the best” will slowly not matter anymore. You could ask 3 different people who they think is “top house” and i guarantee you’ll get 3 different answers. Please take the rankings on this website with a grain of salt, because I have firsthand experienced girls in the “top two sororities” tell me that they wish they went to another sorority that was “ranked lower”.

PNM’s, these are YOUR next 4 years and don’t let anyone pressure you into feeling a certain way about any house. This process is for you to find that group of friends you didn’t know how you lived without before. Trust your heart and make the decisions you know, deep down, you wont regret. This is why i’m going to stress - GO TO THE HOUSE WHERE YOU KNOW YOU WILL BE THE HAPPIEST! Make this brutal recruitment process worth it <3 Best of luck my loves!
