They are not allowed to be in discussions with their chapters about member selection
They are here first and foremost for the PNMs

Pi Chis are a group of women who have disassociated themselves from their chapter for months and have gone through training specifically to help PNMs navigate through the process of recruitment! They are in no way related to the discussion or deliberation of PNMs throughout the recruitment process AKA they won’t have a say in who gets into a certain chapter if they like you. They are basically cut off from their house for the entire summer leading up to rush week and only after bid day are they reunited with their sisters. Think of them as your advisors throughout your week. Your Pi Chis are an excellent resource! I would strongly recommend asking them any and all questions you may have! They’re there for you! :)
