black pref dress?

Hi guys,
Buying my rush outfits now and I wanted to use a black dress I have in my closet for pref. I’ve read at some schools it’s a tradition for all PNMs to wear black dresses that night, and at other schools it’s looked down on, sometimes you can even be cut if you wear black since most houses either wear it that night.
Does anyone know if UF has any unspoken rules we need to follow for dress code?

I’ll be on the recruiting end this year and I’ve heard nothing about pnms being forced to wear one color or another, wear whatever you want as long as it’s formal and seems like you put thought into your outfit. Most houses have to wear a certain color on pref day but that’s just the girls rushing you in order to look cohesive!
