rec letters
by: PNMAre rec letters really important? Im wondering whether or not I should waste my time contacting reps for all of the houses, or just try to secure the ones I really want, or none at all. What houses take letters into consideration??

Do you happen to know what houses take recs more seriously vs the houses that don't really care much?

Not in my house. We cut for not having recs before pref if it comes down to having to make a decision between girls we like who have them and girls we like who don't. We have to make cuts so not having a rec is an easy tie breaker.

Don't listen to this ignorant comment. Recs have zero to do with legacy. Get your recs. They don't guarantee a bid but they can sometimes help you not get cut! Recs show you are serious and care about a bid. You want every advantage in recruitment.
