do sorority houses cost more than fraternity houses?
by: Construction CostsThere’s a website that says Gamma phi’s new house will cost over $10 million. Another website says Pi Kappa’s new house will cost a little over $4 million. Looking at the two houses, it doesn’t look like Gamma Phi’s house is two and a half times the size of Pi Kappa’s house. Can anyone explain the huge cost difference?

They could be factoring in the cost of the lot. Pi kap had their lot already when they tore down to rebuild which makes construction A LOT easier. GPhi is bigger in overall size (3 floor vs 2, plus just bigger sq ft wise) and prob higher end ammenities/fixtures/finishes. Both will be amazing though! But I wouldn’t doubt that sorority houses on average cost more
