what she was saying was that you're falling right into the common joke we make of freshmen here. You're coming to UF, we're all smart. We all came in with a lot of credits, high GPAs, and I've met PLENTY of people (myself included) who came in with an AA from hs. So bragging about these things just makes you look conceited.
No hate but someone's going to burst your bubble eventually, you'll realize you're not as special as you thought you were when you come to UF. Trust me, we all went through it, but you're coming to a school with kids that were all top in their hs, so find something to make yourself stand out besides academics!

She is a junior. She will be classified as a Junior. I am one of those girls. I came to UF right out of HS with an AA degree.,Actually it was no problem at all. All houses take juniors and seniors . Most of the PC will be Freshman. My house appreciated the fact I was studious. Do not lie and say you are a frosh. I got the house I wanted.

It does matter during rush.
Register as a freshman. You are a freshman. You are a first year student. It is easier to rush as a freshman. It’s harder to rush as an upperclassman because sororities would rather take girls they think will be there the full four years. Even if you have an AA and plan on attending for only 2 years, REGISTER AS A FIRST YEAR.

Idiot. Your house finds out. What do you not understand. You will be not be a freshman at all. I got right in the college of Engineering. It it s 5 year program but I was classified as a junior. They will find out when you have to give them your grades.

By the time you share grades you're already initiated. Half of the "freshman" class is a junior by credits but most people change their majors. I was a junior by credit. I registered as a freshman. I expected to graduate early, but I am here for 4 years. It's so normal. Chill out.
