Huge difference. The top is the real deal. The top girls have everything. Beauty, brains, social skills, popular, confidence.

Depends on the particular vibes of each top and bottom sorority you're comparing, but in general top tier is better looking, thinner, maybe more personable, maybe a little snobbier. It varies from sister to sister but this is generally how things go.

I’ll go so far as agree that the top tier has a higher level of confidence. They are “face” people who come off well in first impressions. However, I won’t give them higher marks for brains or people skills. For sororitys, their beauty is more made up and striking like a model, while the other tiers have a more wholesome and natural beauty. Yes, the weight thing gets tucked into the lesser tiers. For frats the fortune of having the right look and a natural aggressiveness is concentrated in the top tier, but the other values that follow from a good moral compass have minimal correlation with the dominant characteristics of the top tier. If you are not a “face” person, you will be happier in a more normal group in the mid-tiers. There are 25,000 undergrads at Florida, And only a 1000 or so members of the “top tiers”. You can have a great time without them!

A ZTA is a Benz
A SK is a Toyota
Which one would you rather be in?

By: Cars
by: Apt analogy

More like a Benz with a lot of expensive maintenance required and low reliability

A Benz is always first pref but a Toyota is a reliable car but everyone is gonna nv the Benz. That's just how it is.

The top tiers have higher return rates during recruitment because everyone wants to hang with the so called beautiful people. Look at the incoming freshmen. The ones rushing usually follow the same 4 houses and we all know who they are. Hint: they start with A,D, K and Z. Many will be disappointed during recruitment because there will probably be around 70 spots per house this year with Alpha Phi colonizing.

Because there’s a new sorority they will have fewer spots?

There should be more spots overall but Pan-Hellenic will dictate what the quota of each house is during prefs. It all depends on how many PNMs rush but if numbers are similar to past years there will be around 70 per house and Alpha Phi will take more, possibly around 250 or 300.

As a sophomore rushing next year I’m concerned. I’m aiming for a top tier house and I don’t wanna be in alpha phi...

Top has better social skills and better looks. Bottom has some people who are nerdier/socially awkward
