what type of girls don’t get a bid anywhere?
by: PnmJust wondering what I should avoid doing. I saw a previous thread about a pnm saying she was overweight and a poster said she would prob not get a bid anywhere. I’m thin, but am curious if there is anything else that will result in not getting a bid anywhere. Btw, I don’t know anyone in the sororities at UF and am wondering if this will negatively affect me

I got dropped by Zta and ddd because I was 20 pounds over weight. I made it to round 3 inlay Kd and Adpi. Some houses like Zta and ddd are super Shallow and you are strictly judged in your looks and weight. Could not care less because I did not like either one . The two top nice houses are Kd and Adpi anyway.?

How can you possibly know that that's why they dropped you? I think I speak for most other girls when I say that I spend a lot of time with my chapter and know the vibe of the house very very well, and sometimes I can tell that the girl I'm rushing probably wouldn't fit in, so why would I tell my chapter to ask someone back when I know they'll probably end up wanting a different house that they're happier in?

Ddd and Zta extremely shallow . Both have some not so attractive girls. . Horrible sisterhoods. That is what happens when select girls on looks alone.

Where I ended up is where I was appreciated . It was not Kd or Adpi. I just made a committ that the girls rushing at those true houses were genuine. The only two houses in the top tier that are so nice and sweet. I ended up in a middle tier house. No regrets either.

Only Kd and Adpi were genuine to me. I am a tall big boned girls but I am pretty. Yes 20 pounds oversight but still very pretty. I do fell that Kd and Adpi would have selected me . They are not that shallow. My weight did not stop me from being invited to Ka formal this year. So eat crow Zta and ddd , I do not think want your houses ever!

DDD and Zta have the mean girl reputations . Horrible sisterhoods. Drop rates are sky high. Shallow immature girls with attitudes. There is your reason . Adpi and Kd genuine and have great sisterhoods. FYI I do not belong to anyone of those houses. I do not hate anyone. Truth matters.

girls that don't get a bid fall into a few categories:
1. Their weight or looks pull them from being even "average" looking to "unattractive." Houses are all about their reputations - and even the lowest ranking houses care about how others will perceive them when a woman is wearing their letters.
2. Horrible attitude and overall awkward. Unless you're stunning (where a bad attitude will cause you to drop a tier), a bad personality and overall negativity won't get you in anywhere. Be nice. Be excited. Be yourself. If you don't want to join a club of 150+ girls then don't try to convince yourself you should.
3. Lost in the shuffle. Look nice enough and establish good enough communication with your rusher to not be forgotten. There are hundreds of girls being ranked and voted on. Figure out a way to make sure that the woman you're talking to remembers you, wants to be your friend, and will vouch for you. The women you talk to are all on the same "team" and score you. Make sure at least a few can give you a good "score."

Of course gpa matters! If you’re rushing as a sophomore or junior and you don’t have at least a 3.0, you might get dropped by many houses, of all tiers. No one wants to take a grade risk! Even with a 3.0-3.49, you might get dropped, unless you have some incredible activities on your resume (like Preview staff or Cicerones..)
