reality check
by: OK
TBH I don't understand how no one has recognized this yet but unless something catastrophic happens like a top tier gets kicked off of campus, THE RANKINGS DON'T CHANGE!!!!
Literally, a bottom tier can do anything to become mid tier but they will stay at the bottom. Same goes for mid tier they can do anything to reach the top but they won't get there. Everyone knows a DZ was freakin Miss University of Florida last year but guess what DZ's ranking didn't budge. SK got a new house and guess what their ranking didn't go up either. The list goes on but reality is top tiers will stay at the top and bottom tiers will stay at the bottom. That doesn't mean chapters should stop accomplishing things, please by all means still chase after achievements but stop bashing other chapters thinking that's going to change the rankings because it won't.

Some of these changes are just a spot or two up or down and some changes take place over years and years, but this has generally been the trajectories. Dg’s big fall has probably been one of the biggest shifts over the years and helped move several houses up, including Aopi which was once very mid tier.
Pi phi was also more mid/lower mid years ago (and at one point further back, they even left UF for awhile), so they have moved up.
Axo sometimes gets knocked hard on here, but they have moved up from the bottom three over time, as has phi mu. So it is possible. Kkg used to be considered firmly better than Axo, not equal, so thus the fallen designation (kkg seems like they are on here a lot lately, so sorry in advance kkg, but it is true kkg used to be considered quite a bit better than Axo, not virtually the same).
Adding new chapters typically bumps almost all the houses up at least one spot. So everyone will get a boost when Aphi comes (no, Aphi will not shoot to the top, even thought their alums will post on here saying they will).

But that can take years of improving relations and event. It would take glorious pledge classes and no scandals it’s a very long and challenging process it’s not something that can happen overnight or even a couple semesters.
