transfer greek

Hey I’m thinking of transferring from fsu to UF. I’m male. I was wondering how different the Greek life is at UF compared to fsu. Part of me wants to stay at fsu but feel like there’s more opportunity at UF. In addition, the Greek life at fsu can be a little uncomfortable and I’m a minority which I feel like I’m talked down on sometimes. Please any info will help.

Tbh I’m treated differently by white guys within fraternities. They just see me as someone they can get help with in academics. They really don’t invite me out or hang out with me because I’m a minority and want to know is this the same at UF?

That part about the academics makes sense. Students at FSU are NOT the sharpest pencils.

I feel like UF since it’s a harder school respect not only minorities but hard working students as well. If I were to rush will fraternities understand this and accept me for this. Or is it the same social setting like fsu?

Honestly I wish I got into UF. Simply because I have a legacy there. I might transfer or I might even do grad school there...who knows.
