UF has one of the largest out-of-state populations for a state school. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and like someone else said, too bad it doesn't fit your headbangerz narrative.

I'm from PA, and agree with this post 100%. People who are not from the Northeast or out of state could scroll right by.

how unwelcoming top tiers are if you're not southern lol. if you cant relate to southern and are an open minded individual who wants to get to know different types of people: these are the chapters to look into. simple as that.

breakdown:
AOPI/DG - more party/ SoFlo side with some southern chicks. AOPI is probably more laid back and alternative while DGs are more into fashion and being facey

DDD/ZTA - tampa/jax girls. DDD more beachy and chill and ZTA more betchy and cliquey

DPE/KAT - DPE split 50/50 soflo girls and out of state. party a lot but also studious. KAT more diverse and a little more low key

you all are close minded af. Sororities have different vibes but that doesn't make anyone better or worse. Do you want a cookie because your not southern? Congrats- neither are half the girls in adpi or Kd- Most stereotypes at UF are outdated and if the "headbangers narrative" bothers you SO much then stay off the site or go whine about it to ur friends. CHILL

The responses to this post are so salty it's hysterical. Like she's just giving her opinion for pnms from the same region. Most city peeps are open minded but would be much more comfortable in houses with girls like them such as these. I'm from so flo and 100% agree with this and loved these houses the most during rush. Not to say I didn't think the others were great because I liked some more southern vibe ones as well but it just shows not everyone's "top tier" house needs to be top of the top. And UF is the least southern of the SEC and more southern sororities are taking cues from the trendy non southern sororities for game day outfits and such so quit with the salt !!!

I'm Italian from NY and a soon to be sophomore. Happily in AOPI, but love every house you mentioned except ZTA.

GO dg or ddd. Aopi is more Spanish party girls.
