It’s true for many. People make up their mind in the first few minutes of meeting someone. That doesn’t mean a house may rate you higher in another round with more interaction. Just focus on being friendly, outgoing and enjoy yourself.
I’m not going to deny that there are houses here that rate you primarily on your looks. It is obvious when you go there and you know who I am talking about. There will be many dropped on looks alone and you have to decide whether that is something that bothers you or not.

Conversations are important. Don't let anyone tell you different. It's not what you talk about, it's your personality coming through. What do you look for in a potential friend that would make you want to see them again - the correct answers to questions? No! Just focus on who you are talking with and try to make a connection with each person. Then do it again at the next house. It's not about taking a test, it's about finding your people!
