parking
by: pnmI am stressed about parking during rush. I live far off campus and my scooter isn't going to be up in Gainesville until about the 4th day of rush. Do you think there will be any parking open for me to park at norman, in front of the sororities, or at Jennings during rush. Should I try to find another way to get there just in case?

Jennings and Sorority row are Red 1 parking. Assuming you're a freshman you're probably going to have Red 3 parking. There is red parking available at Norman but it's almost impossible to get during the year but I don't know how it'll be during rush. You'll most likely have to park at the commuter lot. #itswalkingUF

no no no no this is absolutely not an option.
Last year sigma kappa had their recruitment at a hotel so they ran a bus there. That is not the case this year.
Besides that fact you have to meet at your home base tent for every round. There aren't shuttles just going around campus for girls rushing.

This applies for the morning as well. And if red parking is lifted then expect it to be even worse as anyone can park there. The majority of people have Red3 decals.
I advise that for the first day show up at least half an hour early and try your luck in those places. If there aren't any spots then at least you have the extra time you gave yourself to go to another parking lot and walk back.
