bid day

What happens at bid day- not the party once you go to the house but before? You rank your three choices the night before and then what? Does everyone open their bids at once, do they call you in one by one? How do you know what to wear?

Everyone opens their bids at once. Wear something you could wear for round 2. A romper, a cute top and shorts, or a cute dress are all good. Then you'll head to your new home!

That must be an intense room- and a long wait how many girls make it to that point? And how do the snap bids work- do they go to the room too?

No clue how many girls make it to that point, but to my knowledge girls with snap bids DO go there too.

In the case of KD's snap bids, did rush dropees just get calls the night before to show up? Also, curious how many snap bids were given?

I think they were given a call to show up. No clue how many snap bids. Don't bank on a snap bid.

On bid day, if a chapter has not reached quota (so they need 83(made this up) girls on their lawn on bid day, but they only have 70(or any number) girls on their bid list), they have the option to give out snap bids. This is when the Computer Pi Chi basically talks with the people in charge of recruitment at that house to decide which girls they want to bid, out of all the girls that were released from recruitment entirely and did not get bids. Once they decide, the computer pi chi or whoever calls the released PNM and basically says something like "KD wants to give you a bid blah blah blah there was a fluke in the computers" or something along those lines, and the PNM shows up on bid day like everybody else. Nobody knows who the snap bids are besides the girls who got snap bids and the people in charge of recruitment.

Wear shorts because you will be given a T-Shirt at your new house. Not a dress or romper. It's basically like Round 1

Most houses give you a bid day shirt for you to wear the day after bid day.... PLEASEE LOOK CUTE AND WEAR A ROMPER OR DRESS. YOU WILL TAKE SO MANY PICTURES AND HATE YOURSELF IF YOURE THE GIRL IN DENIM SHORTS. That is all.

It actually depends on the house. My house is giving out tanks for bid day specifically. Not saying name but I would say if you expect to go to a trendier house, wear shorts :-)

Just wear a casual dress/sandals, ideally in a more neutral color so it doesn't clash with your house's theme (so your pictures look cuter). I think some houses do shorts (AOPi, AEPhi, Deeph did last year) but its impossible to predict so I'd just go with a casual dress
