Heads up for anyone looking to join

Loyola greek life is nothing like stereotypical /SEC schools. It is much smaller and more tight knit. No one cares about your “rank”. Greek life seems to have grown recently but is still very small. Also, know ahead of time that Loyola (the institution) hates greek life. If you join you will be under a very close watch and not be allowed to do a lot of what you may see at schools like ‘bama. That being said it can still be worth it. Chapters here are a good mix of business and fun. It is much easier to get into leadership roles here and to bond with a large amount of your chapter. I definitely prefer this over a large school type but wish i’d known this before going through recruitment.
