chances of getting a bid not from the south?
by: AnonI'm not from the south, but really want to rush a sorority. Because I'm not from the south will I even have a chance of getting a bid? I know rush at most southern schools is very competitive

Recruitment at UofL is very different from most southern schools. Most girls who go through recruitment end up in a sorority. If you keep an open mind and keep your options open, and go through recruitment without being super picky you're very likely to get a bid. Also, if you make it to preference night, you are guaranteed to get a bid from one of the two sororities you visit that night. Best of luck and don't worry too much. Just be yourself and keep in mind that it is sisterhood you're looking for
