Theta has grown a ton the past 2 years. They used to be super shy and not as involved on campus, but their newer pledge classes have changed this chapter. They’re super involved on campus with their philanthropy, and have become a lot more social and outgoing. They’re down to earth and super cool. Theta pretty much accepts everyone and has no shame for what they believe in.

Greek rank isn’t the best way to judge a greek organization since most reviews are outdated in views, so keep that in mind if you’re rushing. Chi Omega’s are probably the most diverse among panhellenic sororities on campus. They are super involved in leadership positions, organizations, and with their philanthropy on campus. They are very outgoing people, but they can sometimes be full of themselves and hold themselves on a pedestal. They typically hang out with Beta’s and have friends from every sorority. Their sisterhood is very strong, but those who aren’t extremely outgoing or leadership-oriented may get overshadowed. But, every girl seems to find her place in Chi O and if they don’t, they drop just like in any other sorority.

DZ’s are known to be athletic and pretty. They dominate intramurals every year. They have a shady reputation among some fraternities and tend to only hang with some sororities, but their newest pledge class is a lot better than the older girls. They’re super involved on campus and tend to do a lot for their philanthropy, which probably helps their sisterhood out a bit.

AOII is probably the most friendly sorority on campus and they have a really great sisterhood. Their girls tend to by shy, which might be why they aren’t as social as others, but that could stem from internal leadership. They associate with anyone from any organization on campus and are really accepting people.

Generally Pi Phi’s are nice girls. There are rumors that their academics aren’t a top priority, but that doesn’t describe them as a whole. Pi Phi’s are straightforward and passionate about their philanthropy. They have a pretty friendly sisterhood and openly show that on campus.

Pike Spike? Yeah it’s true. Stay the hell away from these guys. Super weird and creepy and only a few girls on campus actually mess with them, but they’re all trash anyways

SK girls are always pretty cool. They have become a lot nicer than they used to be in the past, and their sisterhood has improved a ton since 2015. They used to mostly surround themselves with SAE’s and themselves, but recently they seem to have a few friends from everywhere. They have a great philanthropy but could do a little more to involve themselves on campus with other organizations and showcase their sisterhood. They’re known for being pretty and smart and also for winning Fryberger & Dance Show often.

As an alumni of SK at UofL, I can attest that this is a good sorority. However, it is very cliquey. And it’s hard to get all of the girls to connect. There is also poor leadership. We’re also known as the sorority of hoes. A lot of girls drop freshman year once there are cliques already made up and they aren’t a part of it. Good sorority, just be careful before joining

As an alumni of this chapter, I have seen first hand why this fraternity is below average on so many levels. How about we start with the absolute disfunction of the chapter. From social chair to brotherhood chair all the way up to President there is lack of leadership and internal struggles with getting participation from the chapter. If you want a frat that forfeits half of its IM games because no one shows up, or a frat that overhyped parties, then sigma chi is for you. It is a weird mix of guys too, with the rich selfish kids from Cov Cath to the farm boys from middle of nowhere Kentucky to the out of state kids who only get bids because “it’s brave they are coming all the way to Louisville knowing nobody.” Brothers don’t like the fraternity because only a few active brothers run the whole thing and get power hungry.

Sigma Kappa’s are super chill and laid back. They usually win Fryberger every year and are known for it. Their sisterhood has grown with their recent pledge class, and has become a bit more diverse and open minded than past years. They used to seem pretty standoffish in the past, but their new leadership has changed the game for them. They need to work on having more philanthropy events on campus and putting themselves out there, but the girls as a whole are a good group of you’re thinking about joining greek life.
