idk it sounds like if you would have gone the the sisterhood events you would feel differently? in my house we do same thing and the fines are way worse lol. hate that you feel like you like you had to drop, sigma seems so chill.

I have to agree with the other response posted. Your rant seems kind of unclear. Were you actually fined or not? Because if you were fined for not going then how would you know if the groups were "cliquey" or not... And if you actually did go, then NO you weren't fined $200. Sorry you feel unwelcome in your house, but you get out what you put in so if you don't even want to go to sisterhood events then the only person at fault here is you. Don't come on some anonymous website to whine and complain about greek life if you aren't even in it anymore and never made the effort when you were. There's so many girls that like sisterhood events, socials, etc. so you really can bring people down with such a negative attitude.

I was in sigma but i had to drop because i was just over it all. got fined almost $200 for not wanting to participate in mandatory "sister hood" events where the "cool girls" cliqued up and made it very obvious how they felt about the pepole they believed to be below them. the whole time it felt very divided, and i never really felt welcome.
