Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at Lamar University - LU 2.5 You might as well call this PIKE but for girls. why is there such an importance on being around frat guys and attending events???? Focus more on membership and may b you won't have so many trying to go early alum.

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at Lamar University - LU 2.9 When I first joined I was so exited to be part of AXO but after a year I started to feel as if I didn't really belong there. When I decided to drop I regretted it at first but then I saw many of the girls I had called "sisters" completely ignore my existence. At that moment I knew I did the right decision and I still believe that the only reason why I got in was so they could meet their membership quota, that is all they seem to care about. This sorority also seems to have a weird obsession with Pi Kappa Alpha, and it seems like all they care about is holding events with them. Overall, there are some girls in AXO who are genuinely nice girls.

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at Lamar University - LU 2.7 When I went through recruitment last year and rushed AXO I made a huge mistake. As a woman of color, I expected to feel welcome as everyone talks about them being so diverse but thats the opposite of how I felt. I'm pretty sure that I was recruited solely to boost stats on their race count and was used as a weapon against the other two chapters. After bid day the hype of me died down and I was no longer an interest for them. Don't get me wrong, there are some really sweet and genuine girls in that chapter (shout out Naomi) which I think she dropped too, but it just was not a fit for me.

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at Lamar University - LU 2.9 AXO is pretty well known for their partying and when I went through recruitment, one of the girls I talked to at AXO literally said "do you want to meet frat guys? Pike is the best, we only hang out with Pike." I'm not joining a sorority to meet guys but thanks. this is when I knew AXO wasn't for me. they have a few really nice girls but tbh a lot of weird ones too and it seems like they will take anybody. they have low gpa compared to the other sororities and definitely not as classy

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at Lamar University - LU 4.5 This sorority is very involved with their philanthropy. Though they can be competitive, they have a good sense of sisterhood. Fun to be around at parties and social gatherings. Tends to be friendly with most Greeks, not only CPC and IFC.

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at Lamar University - LU 4.0 Of the four social sororities, AXO is the most diverse. They do a lot with their philanthropy. Alpha Chi is also one of the most involved sororities on campus, whether it’s engaging with other Greek life or participating in other organizations. But each sorority, AXO, ZTA, AOE and ADPi, has their flaws, such as lack of participation and sisterhood and having a few “unclassy” members. Looking at these rankings might help you decide (if you’re a PNM) but your best bet is to talk to each of the sororities and see which group of girls you fit in with most.

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at Lamar University - LU 1.2 blah, blah, blah... axo this axo that. come on ladies, stop with the self rate. Every sorority has their own uniqueness and what makes them different from each other. It is so ironic that this is the only sorority that had positive ratings in February, while the other two sororities had negative ratings. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was an AXO who is making these hurtful/hateful comments. We get it, you have a lot of pride in your sorority, but taking down other sororities is not the way to go.
