For everyone saying AST is a bunch of rush rejects, every org needs to start somewhere. Of course there are gonna be weird girls. I'm in a different organization but AST has a lot of pretty and fun girls, who will obviously out-shine the not-so cool ones. Would you call your founders rush rejects? They seem to be doing a lot on campus so far and building a pretty good rep. I can definitely see them building themselves up to middle-top within the next couple of years. give them a chance!
